iMoveTM Hosting and Distribution Services
Working in partnership with Intel Internet Media Services, iMove provides turnkey video distribution of Multiview Interactive Video. Content producers will have a quick and easy way to deliver video over the Internet, and their customers will be able to immediately view those videos.
iMove’s hosting and distribution service is optimized for high-speed delivery of “Rich Media” such as interactive video. Intel Internet Media Services uses a high-speed network backbone to deliver files through geographically dispersed streaming servers.
iMove customers will have access to an online “Content Manager” to maintain their set of multiview videos. The Content Manager will enable the receipt and encoding of new content for Web access.
Content delivered onto the service will be encoded using iMove’s RedCarpetÔ streaming technology. This progressive delivery technology lets viewers watch the interactive video content while it is being streamed over the Internet.
WebStarter Service
For customers ready to embrace and deliver interactive video on the Web, iMove is offering a WebStarter promotion. This all-inclusive package at $1,495.00, includes software and services for the production and distribution of Multiview Interactive Video.
Between now and March 31, 2001, iMove is offering a WebStarter package which provides two seats of the Multiview Production Suite (retail $495 each), 1.5 Gigabytes of storage and up to 20 Gigabytes of content delivery per month for three months. After the third month, base level service will continue for $1,000 per month.
