ROGER THOMAS, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
With more than 30 years experience in sales, marketing and executive management for companies in the computer, telecom, database and networking industries, Mr. Thomas provides leadership and overall strategic focus to the iMove team. Mr. Thomas attended the University of Texas at Austin and has had sales and general management roles at IBM, Mohawk Data Services, MRI Systems and Intel. Mr. Thomas brings an extensive background in the successful introduction of emerging technologies to the market.
Dr. David Ripley, Chief Technology Officer, co-founder of iMove.
Dr. Ripley is a pioneer in the development of all-digital multimedia for PC applications, first at Sarnoff Research Center and later for Intel’s DVI division, before founding iMove in 1995. Dr. Ripley has led the development of iMove’s cutting-edge video enhancement and panoramic movie technology. He holds an MA in mathematics from the University of California at Davis and a Ph.D. in computer science from Iowa State University.
Rick Mandrell, Vice President, Operations.
Mr. Mandrell is responsible for iMove product engineering and production, program management, system integration and customer service. He has over twenty years of professional management experience in high growth, technology development companies, with extensive experience in product development of digital imaging systems in security and mapping applications. Recently, Mr. Mandrell was President and COO of Templex Technology, Inc. an optical communications technology startup in Eugene, Oregon, which was acquired by Intel Corp. Mr. Mandrell received his BS and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
Gwendolyn Hunt, Vice President, Software Engineering.
Ms. Hunt is responsible for the development of all iMove software products and servers. She has extensive experience in developing complex client server systems and high-availability servers in both e-commerce and traditional organizations, using object-oriented technologies such as C++ and Java. Most recently, she was the chief technology officer for a Portland Internet startup. Before that, she had extensive systems development experience with IBM Global Services as Senior IT Architect; and prior to that, as a Systems Engineer with Electronic Data Systems. Ms. Hunt holds an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy.
Mike Park, Vice President, Imaging Systems.
Mr. Park is responsible for all aspects of iMove’s spherical camera development. He has extensive experience in product planning and development, and directing product development teams for technology companies. Most recently, as vice president of product and business development for SEIKO Communication Systems of America, he was responsible for joint product development with partners IBM and Delco Electronics. He holds a BS in computer science from Oregon State University and has served as a board director for several technology companies.
