Senior Software Engineer for Server Systems | Submit Resume

JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior software engineer responsible for designing and developing, high performance cross-platform streaming media servers and test driver applications. Will take a leadership role in team software development. Must be proficient with object modeling techniques. Will be the lead test designer for a streaming media application. 

REQUIRED
· BSCS or equivalent
· Must have 5 years experience C++ (years experience with C doesn’t count)
· Must understand Object Oriented software development and modeling
· Must have extensive NT, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX or Linux application development experience
· Must understand IP protocol application development
· Must be familiar with threaded application development
· Must have experience in image processing or video and audio compression

DESIRED
· Experience developing Real Networks Server applications a major plus
· Experience developing Windows Media applications a major plus
· Java, database Oracle, Informix, DB2 application experience
· technical team lead experience
· Familiar with Booch, OMT development methodologies
· Design Pattern experience
· UNIX system admin experience
· System wide test engineer experience a plus
· Configuration Management experience
