iMove, Inc. Appoints New Board Member, John Hillen, Ph.D.


Seasoned Defense Executive and Expert on Homeland Security and Intelligence Brings Broad Military and Security Expertise to Growing Spherical Imaging Company

Portland, OR., August 23, 2004 – Inc, a leading supplier of surveillance solutions to the defense, intelligence and homeland defense communities, today named Dr. John Hillen to its board of directors. Dr. Hillen was most recently the Senior Vice President and head of the $415 million Defense and Intelligence group at American Management Systems, Inc. in Fairfax, Virginia, which was sold to CACI International in May 2004.

Prior to his tenure at AMS, Dr. Hillen was the Chief Operating Officer of Island ECN, Inc. in New York City – the nation’s largest electronic agency brokerage. A national security expert, Dr. Hillen has written several critically acclaimed books on military affairs and published articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and the Washington Post, among others. He has served as a senior scholar on a bi-partisan blue-ribbon government commission and held several fellowships at Washington think tanks. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and sits on the board of trustees of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London and the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia. A former Army paratrooper and decorated combat veteran who has served with reconnaissance and special operations units around the world, he holds degrees from Duke University and King’s College London as well a doctorate from Oxford. He earned his MBA at Cornell University.
